Lake Ferry

Kia Ora!  Lake ferry is a couple of hours drive from Wellington situated between the shores of Lake Onoke and Palliser Bay.  We stopped off at the Lake Ferry cafe for some afternoon tea before going for a short drive further along the lake.  It's certainly worth while going for a walk along the black sands to the waters edge.  There are lots of lines cast in the water and a scattering of folk flying kites.  What a great place to unwind and just chill.
